New Immigration Channel

In light of the increasing number of trans and non-binary individuals seeking refuge in Canada and particularly Ontario due to intensifying hostile government actions against them in their home countries, we have decided to open a channel dedicated to sharing information about immigrating to Canada!

Forum Channel Improvements

You may have noticed that we’ve added a couple of new functions to Red to improve the notably poor out-of-the-box experience of using forum channels in discord. Our forum channels will now announce to a relevant text channel when new threads are opened in the forum. Additionally, summaries of activity in the various topics in the forum will periodically (daily or weekly depending on the forum) be sent to a relevant text channel.

2026 Pride Month Events

With pride month coming up we have a couple of events planned so far in the Toronto area. First, one of our members is running a thrift store crawl on June 20th similar to the one that she ran back in January. We are also putting together our plan for the Toronto Trans March on June 26th!

Also if you know of any pride events in your area that you’d like to highlight, please post them in the relevant regional channel or follow the instructions in the server announcement for more details about how to set up an event 🙂
